Interesting... I loved my old pair, and have recently been thinking about getting another thinking that they'd be a good lifting shoe. Let me know how you like them.

Dan, I've done a couple wods and heavy workouts in these and so far I really really like them. Last night on Elizabeth I felt real solid. I'd like to run through some wods with thrusters/box jumps/running for a full evaluation, but for the most part they seem solid an a good workout shoe as well as hipster enough to wear out and about.
As for choice between models, I just went with what was available. I queried the forum and sambas were a good gp wod shoe, so went with those. Thought about the white but it was either order them from Amazon or get the black ones from a local sporting goods store NOW. ;-) Impatience won the day. Besides, I hate ordering shoes online unless I've tried them on before.
